Harry’s humans
Danielle and Greg share a life in New Orleans filled with creativity, conversations, and a cat who has his own ideas about the itinerary.
BLUE EYES. BIG EARS. NEW ORLEANS.
A cat who belongs wherever
he happens to be.

THE CAT BEHIND THE NAME

Harry is a seal point Sphynx cat. New Orleans is home. Danielle and Greg are his humans.
Danielle wanted a punny name. The Houdini wordplay fit. Only later did his humans discover that Harry and Houdini share a March 24 birthday, exactly 150 years apart.
He’s curious, self-possessed, and happy to see what’s around the next corner. Sometimes that means a walk. Sometimes it means settling into a very good chair.
A hairless cat on a leash tends to start conversations. People stop to say hello, then tell us about their own cats. Harry takes it all at his own pace.
He rides in a stroller, walks on a leash, and travels with his humans. But the composed traveler is also the cat who may ignore his name, investigate a countertop, or forget everything else when a bird appears.
His comfort and curiosity come first.
LIFE AT HARRY’S PACE
Some days call for a walk.
Some call for a better seat.

A stroller is one of Harry’s ways of moving through the world. He can watch the passing scenery, sit up for a closer look, or settle into his blanket while his humans do the walking.
His ease in a crowd is part of what makes him memorable. But curiosity is the more reliable constant. A change in movement, a new smell, or a bird can redirect his attention completely.
Being out together leaves room for both: the composed cat taking everything in, and the unmistakably feline one who has spotted something interesting.

Harry’s life has plenty of quiet in it. A good chair. A warm blanket. A stretch that takes up more room than seems strictly necessary.
Those moments belong here alongside the walks and hellos. There doesn’t have to be an outing, an audience, or a story with a grand ending. Sometimes a cat on a chair is the whole story.

THE PEOPLE & PLACES AROUND HIM
Danielle and Greg are Harry’s humans. Their shared life in New Orleans includes creative work, neighborhood walks, and the small encounters that happen when a cat comes along.

A FEW THINGS PEOPLE ASK

Harry is a seal point Sphynx, with blue eyes and a little soft peach fuzz. His coloring is similar to a Siamese cat’s; seal point describes his color pattern, not a Siamese crossbreed. His expressions, enormous ears, and very direct gaze do much of the talking.
Nudini because he’s nude. Danielle wanted a punny name, and the Houdini wordplay fit. Later, his humans discovered that Harry Nudini and Harry Houdini share a March 24 birthday, exactly 150 years apart. The name came first; the coincidences followed.
Yes. Harry walks on a leash and also rides in a stroller. He spends time looking, sniffing, and investigating. His humans follow what holds his interest rather than expecting every outing to follow a tidy route.
He’s often remarkably at ease in public. He’s also a cat: playful, independent, selective about attention, and capable of becoming completely absorbed by a bird. Both versions are Harry.
Possibly. Harry visits SHINE, but he doesn’t keep an appointment calendar. Stop in during studio opening hours and ask whether he’s there. There’s no purchase required to say hello, and meeting him depends on his whereabouts and his mood.

IF NEW ORLEANS BRINGS YOU HERE
Out for a walk or visiting SHINE Studio, a hello with Harry happens on his terms. He comes and goes, and isn’t always in the mood to mingle.
Stop by SHINE during its opening hours and ask whether Harry is visiting. There’s no purchase required to say hello.
